Outlook 2003 Problem

I have a problem that I haven’t been able to find any information on. One of my users is on a Win XP SP2 PC using Outlook 2003 connected to our Windows Server 2003 Standard server w/Exchange SP1. When she deletes e-mail from her inbox, the PC monitor shuts down and the mouse and keyboard stop responding, but the PC itself doesn’t shut down. It can happen after deleting one e-mail or several. There is no spyware, adware, viruses or unusual programs loaded on the PC. Has anyone had this happen and do you have a solution before I reinstall Outlook or recreate her profile? Any help is appreciated.
