outlook 2003 will not let me delete duplicate folders

hi all ! I’m setting up my tosiba Laptop (Win xp) andI have Microsoft Prof 2003. I have Outlook problems as I tried to set up my emails with an existing .pst file and ended up duplicating the folders. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but now the folder is still there and it won’t allow to open or delete it? Help
