I’m running Exchange 2003 on an SBS2003 server. All of the desktops on the lan in the office connect to exchange without failure 100% of the time (Win XP). However the two Executives of the company have new Vista Laptops. While connected over the VPN (confirmed connection, ping server, ping Exchange server, open & view network mapped drives) 25% of the time Exchange will not connect. You have to reboot & relog in to the VPN 3-5 times to get an exchage connection when this happens. Occassionally even connected to the LAN in the office these two Vista machines will have a problem connecting to the Exchange server and will need a reboot or two before they’ll connect (usually one reboot will do)
Anyone have any thoughts? I have never experienced this problem with XP in the 3 years we’ve been running this Exchange server.
Thanks
