Outlook Express 6 keeps asking for a password

Outlook Express keeps asking for a password and I get the following error messages:

There was a problem logging into your mail server Server Response – ERR Login failed, Port 110, Secure (SSL): No, server Error 0X800CCC90,Error Number 0X800CCC92

There was a problem logging into your mail server: Your password was rejected. ERR Login failed, Port 110, Secure (SSL): No, server Error 0X800CCC90, Error Number 0X800CCC92

I have checked all my email account settings in Outlook Express and they are correct. I did a repair of Windows XP Home SP2 and still have this problem.

Can anyone help.
