Outlook & IE5 Conflict?

When using a dial connection to the internet it is fine so long as I dont go into Outlook first. Outlook is set as the default Email Package and works fine on its own sending and recieving. As soon as you finish outlook and try and connect to the internet, it comes back with unable to connect. Wait 10 minutes and evrything is then fine, I can connect to the internet again!
I have checked the Task monitor and nothing is running.
Any ideas?
