The other day my VPN server received updates from Microsoft in the middle of the night, when I came in the server was rebooted ( I love that Microsoft can do that). When I started it up it sat for 3 hours trying to boot up, my manager gave it a hard re-boot and booted into safe mode, once he was in there he proceeded to stop and disable half the services running in services.msc, unfortunately for me he did not write down the ones that he did this to.
I fixed the issue with the server not booting up but it left a problem that I have been unable to clear up, VPN is working fine I can connect with it from home and view internal web sites, I can ping by name stations on the work network, but Outlook 2003 cannot seem to connect to the Exchange 2003 server over VPN anymore, this was working fine until the fore mentioned day.
If anyone needs any more information from me please do so.
