Outlook with Exchange – can send, not receive

Hi guys!

I’m having a really peculiar problem with a new computer I’m trying to get in shape. We’re using an Exchange 2000 server with the Office 2003 Pro package.

I’ve done a clean install of Windows Xp Pro and Office for an old user in AD. On his old computer his emails are just fine. But on this new one I can only send mails, not receive any.

I have no clue whatsoever what’s causing it. I’ve done the exact same installation on other computers quite a few times before without any problems. You’re just defining an account in Exchange, there isn’t different settings for send and recieive, right?

If anyone could shed some light on this I’d be very grateful.
