overlapping print

I have 2 large screen monitors hooked to my computer. In order to not sit right on top of them I changed the font type & size to fit the display. Now certain e-mails and web pages come in with the type and pictures overlapping each other this site and z-net being to worst fooling with the view or size settings in the drop down menus doesn’t do much to help nor does reseting the grafics size or reselution settings in the control panel. As I have said not every e-mail or web page has this problem anyone have a fix. I’m old and slow and fairly new to computers so if you have a way to resolve this I don’t speak much geek. Thanks Mike
