OWA and Outlook POP/SMTP problem

by krykino_cry . Updated 18 years, 7 months ago

i’m using outlook 2003, the mail server is 2000 and no ISA server. i’m facing both problem.

Let me talk about the outlook 2003 first. If I configured exchange server for my email account, I was able to perform receiving and sending. However, when i configured POP/SMTP (I have done “test account setting” and all the tasks showed completed), I was able to receive but unable to send the email out. The email still remain in the outbox. Below is the sending error message.

Task ‘servername.domain.com.my – Sending’ reported error (0x80040201) : ‘Unknown Error 0x80040201’

About the OWA, I was able to access through internal but unable to access through external. SSL has been created and implemented in the exchange server. Firewall has enabled port 443. I get “The page cannot be displayed” when i accessed by using IE.

Anyone can help me?
