OWA (Outlook Web Access) crashes IE7 in Vista when Composing a message

by atltek . Updated 17 years, 11 months ago

Here’s the situation… SBS 2003 server with many users using Outlook Web Access(OWA). Some users out of the office have started using Vista Home Premium machines and getting mail via OWA. None of the users have any problems until now, August 11, 2007. The user opens OWA, tries to compose a message and gets a red x where the text box is. I had them, in OWA, click Options–> Security–> Install. This fixed the red x, and they can type the message up, even a spell check pops up, but never gets sent. When they hit Send, a window appears saying Internet Explorer is not working, along with the whited-out windows, then IE restarts.
Has there been a new security update to Vista? Is there a hotfix for SBS 2003?
HELP!
I appreciate any suggestions,
Stevens
