Paging file used accessively

Hello all,

I have a Dell Latitude D420 with Windows XP Professional. My paging file is being used up causing my laptop to crash and reboot itself. I have a trojan.Zlob virus on my machine that a recently removed. Do you think I need to wipe machine and start over?
