partition magic error 1652

I’m trying to resize my d drive using partition magic 8.0. After restart, when it try to do the resizing at DOS, I received an error that said “Error 1652, while executing Batch, Bad entry in external attribute list File 5062(128).” It then terminated. Have any idea what this error was about? It work fine with my other drive C, but not drive D. The operation system I have on drive D is chinese simplified win2000. will that have anything to do with it? Thank you for your times.
