Passowrd policy and mobile users

We implemented a simple password policy yesterday and required users to change their password every 42 days. In order to make the changes effective asap we required users to change their password at next logon. Now I’ve been getting calls all morning from mobile users at home saying they can’t access their E-Mail. I’ve had to reset their passwords so they could access exchange. Am I going to go through this every 42 days?
