Password Entry Dialog

I have encountered difficult experiences with this little box while checking
email.

PASSWORD ENTRY DIALOG

The mail server responded:
Mail storage service unavailable,
wait for a few minutes and try again.

It has been really irritated because I could not ONLY kill its task nor jump into other task to run. Moreover, my PC was totally hung up. Any solution or explanation would be much appreciated.
