Password not remembered in Outlook2007/WindowsXP

Hi,
I’m using Outlook 2007 on Windows XP (not in domain) to connect to Exchange (should be 2007, but I’m not sure) server using RPC over HTTP. Problem is, that Outlook doesn’t store my password when selecting “Remember my passsword” checkbox. So I have to enter it every time I open Outlook. I found some solutions to this problem “on the internet”, but none of them actually worked.
