PC does not detect TV sreen with HDMI cable

by egalexandersson . Updated 11 years, 2 months ago

OS Win7Ult-64bit
PC is connected to TV with HDMI
PC does not detect TV

If TV is ON and HDMI connected, when booting, display appears on TV but not on monitor.

However only monitor appears on Display page in Control Panel.

If HDMI is not connected, at boot, my monitor appears normally.

TV (Samsung) does not appear on playback devices (sound) regardless of whether display is on TV or on monitor and HDMI is connected.

It had worked before but what really puzzles me is that SAMSUNG no longer appears in playback devices.

No junk on PC, Registry totally clean, BIOS on optimized defaults, system files OK, chkdsk /r no problems, Bitdefender Total Security 2015 antivirus, Malwarebytes Antimalware Premium and Combofix. All clean.Drivers up to date. sfc /scannow is OK;
chkdsk c: /r no problems. msconfig everything normal. Device Manager OK.

Ran Advanced System Care 8 Pro with Registry Deep Scan.

Still impossible to detect second display.

Registry has no key in HKEY_LOCAL MACHINE/SOFTWARE to show multiple monitors. I believe it should have one that can be set from 1 to 4(max) monitors. This could be a problem, but you guys know best.

PC is CPU Intel i5 4 cores/threads 3.4GHz / RAM 16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 2×8

Please give me some advice. Thank you.
