PC logs back off after login script

by rob1150 . Updated 21 years, 5 months ago

I have a Windows 2003 server, and its has been working fine with me remotely
connecting to it, until I added a logon script. Now when I logon, I enter my
credentials, the computer accepts them, runs the logon script, (its in the
form of a batchfile) and then immediately logs me back off again.

The logon script is just to map some drives, that is all. I can still VPN
into my network and then remote desktop to one of the computers behind the
server, and then map to the server and edit the batch file for my logon
script. I tried to put a “pause” in the logon script, and then “control – C”
out of the batch file, but as soon as then dos window closes, then computer
logs me back off again. For the life of me, I cannot remember what the
Administrative password is, or I would log on with that, and then remove the
logon script from my account, but I have no idea, why the server logs me back
off after running the logon script.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
