PC Upgrades

At what point does adding RAM become a waste of time? It will cost my company only ?60 to upgrade each of 12 Compaq DeskPro 5166MMX PC’s with 256MB RAM, but is it worth it? Might I just as well spend half as much and leave it at 128MB?
