Customers PC went down and when trying to boot says no operating system which as we all know usually means it is not detecting the HDD! So I check the cable and sure enough it came loose. I put it back in but it still said the same thing. I tried user options of CHS still would not detect it. I took it out put it in a working PC and that PC would not detect it. I suspect it to be bad, but I too had this problem with my PC a few weeks ago and had a heck of a time getting it up and running. I putthe HDD in another PC formatted it and re-installed the OS, but the other PC detected the HDD, this one will not do that on either PC. Any help ASAP would be appreciated. I also put the recovery CD in but of course it will not work because it thinks there is no drive to install on and it is right there isn’t because it can’t find it.
