pc133 sdram? 64×64 vs 64×4 (168 pin)

what is the problem difference on mb’s and WHY the problem difference??? On asus,fic,alton,via or any I have tried, the mb will not accept the ram. This makes me leary of buying any ram I cannot see in person. THANK YOU. fred
