PCAnywhere and 2Wire 2701HG-S Router problem

Hi- Having trouble getting PC Anywhere to work from outside to my computer on the local network. Within the 2701 DSl modem/router, I’ve forwarded ports 5631 and 5632 as PC Anywhere requires, and I can successfully use PCAnywhere from another computer on the same network. Problem is that either port forwarding is not working with this router, or perhaps Embarq is blocking them? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
