I have a problem with a pcAnywhere site.
XP pro, dialup connection, setup for callback. Host computer was set up by someone else, with Admin and User groups.
Problem is that when I dial in from my remote (~300 kilometers away) the host answers, host and remote do their handshaking and hang up. Host then calls back, remote answers- end of story.
On site testing with a laptop remote shows that after the callback initialisation the host simply hangs up and refuses to answer any more calls, even though it is still waiting for a call.
I suspect something in the group permissions. I have downloaded notes on this from the Symantec site and am going on site in a couple of days and would like as much information as I can glean in advance, as I don’t relish the 5 1/2 hour round trip.
