PcAnywhere over VPN

Hello,

I have a single NIC VPN with the router providing nat translation and port forwarding to the 2000 server machine running ras as lan/lan routing.

VPN works a treat! no connection drops, good throughput, however when using Pc-Anywhere over the VPN (internal hosts) the machines connect and the user is able to use the machine but after several minutes the Pc-Anywhere connection will drop for no apparent reason yet the VPN stays connected.

This does not appear to be a routing issue as everything is visible but more like a networking consistency issue.

Appreciate any ideas.
