PCMCIA Boot

by genecideshere . Updated 19 years, 10 months ago

I have a toshiba satellite pro sp2100 laptop that has been dropped, and in the resulting aftermath the DVD writer and the onboard NIC are no longer functional.
I however have a PCMCIA NIC that has worked fine with it
The only problem is that when setting up a RIS install of XP i went to boot from the PCMCIA and had no joy, there is no bios setting to boot from pcmcia, so I thought I’d go down the boot disk road, but have run in to debates as to if it is even possible
I have server 2003 installing XP Pro on the laptop, if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated
