peer to peer network design

Hi,

I wish to design a peer to peer network environment to link 3 PCs together.

I have read the article from www.techrepublic.com with 5 parts said that we need the equipment such as hub,network card,cable,connectors,Operating System,server.
but i have enquiry whether did we need any router or not to access internet ??

is it the hub enought already ?
