Pentium III PC Server?

I plan to buy seven (7) Intell Penium III
800 MHz processors and promote one to
run Win2000 server software for easier
administration of users in my unit. Whats
the best approach? Is buying a pentium 4
for the server software a a good option?
I am currently connected to the main
server running on MS Client TCP/IP
network with Pentium II 250 MHz Win 98
OS.
