Ping -a for WinXP Pro???

Ping -a XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX under command prompt running XP should Resolve addresses to hostnames.
The ping utility works but I’m not picking up the hostname. Has the command changed for the MS-DOS version or do I have an error in my Network setup???
