Ping test batch File

Hi I am looking for a unix batch file that will basically do the following.

Platform is Aix 5.2 a flavour of Unix

ping from 192.*.*.1 to 192.*.*.2
and output this to a file.
I need to see if our servers are staying connected.

An expedient response most greatly appreciated
