Pinging a machine in LocalNetwork shows the machine in another Network(VPN)

While I am pinging a machine in Local Network , it shows me the response, but when i check the pinged machine name , it was incorrect and showing machine name alongwith VPN name as – localmachine-pc.xyzvpn.net even if VPN is not connected. Now I unintsall that VPN , still face the same problem.
