We have netware 6 and intranetware servers in our organization.
We have users at a remote site connecting to a netware 4 server via T1. The server has pervasive sql and sybase anywhere loaded for database applications. They have their own OU in the nds tree. The users cannot PING the server under their signons. These users are receiving btrieve error messages and sybase error messages when they try to access the database.(message: cannot open database)
We have tested users in different OUs from this site and they are able to PING and access the server.
The users at the remote sit have rights to the files on the server. The users can map drives to the server.
We have other remote sites (different ou) accessing this server via T1with no problem.
I am looking at the fact that the users in this particular OU cannot ping the server. I need to know what to troubleshoot from this perspective.
