Please insert a disk in Drive A:

Here is my problem. I have a Windows XP (home edition). When the floppy drive is anchored to the case, it cannot read a floppy. The message that is the same as the title of the question appears. Now when the floppy drive is not anchored and is dangling down near the bottom of the mid tower case, it can read floppy drives. The way the mid tower is, the floppy drive is mounted about the HD and the internal speaker is mounted to the housing for both drives below. Has anyone encountered this problem?
