Port Forwarding with a Sagem F1201 "Router"?

by john.jentzema . Updated 15 years, 1 month ago

I own a Sagem F1201 Router. Optus, my Australian ISP that provided this router refers to it as a “modem”. Optus is unable/unwilling to provide the following information:

How can I set up port forwarding on this router?
What are port ranges?
What server name should I use if I need to set the port number under the “Port Forwarding” section found under the “NAT” setup?

The port numbers that concern me in this instance are 80, 443, 3389 and 4125. I need all of these ports available so that I can remotely access my Windows Home Server. WHS is, at the moment, unable to configure the router automatically.

I believe the “modem” router is a version 2.0 with updated firmware v3.31.

As I have never needed to do something like this, can some one answer the above questions for me?
