Port translation on one DMZ server via Sonicwall

by erikbalek . Updated 15 years, 1 month ago

Hello.
We have a Sonicwall TZ170 Enhanced firewall with SonicOS Enhanced 3.1.0.14-49e.
We have a mail server that we changed the SMTP port from 25 to 587, since many ISPs block port 25. This causes it to not recieve mails, since they are all sent on the standard port. I want to do a port translation for that server, but when I try to add it to a new NAT Policy, I cannot select it in the dropdown list, only DMZ Interface IP and DMZ Subnets are in the list for Destination. The list is only different Address Groups, but not those defined for DMZ. No Address Objects.
Is it not possible to do this, a translation of the port to the same IP? Is it only for LAN?
Also, when I select Original/Translated Service, those lists are also empty.
Is there anyone with similar gear and needs that have tried this?
Thanks.
