Ports for IIS v6 website using HTTPS and windows authentication

by swisstonihasher . Updated 18 years, 10 months ago

Hi there,

I’ve setup a secure website using CA’s and SSL, plus windows authentication which isn’t “live” yet and now I need to setup the firewall. Apart from the obvious, HTTPS port, what other ports need to be live being that all pages are accessed (even CA requests) via HTTPS? I just wonder if the windows login requires extra ports to work.

This is all setup via Win 2003, IIS v7 on a standalone member server direct to the internet, ie no active directory involved.

Thanks
