possibly HUB stops randomly???

We have 4 PCs running Microsoft TCP network connected to one 8 ports HUB. PCs are in one room.
When copy one directory it stops transfer randomly I think. for example: it can work 2h and then stops all trafic or transfers a half file. When it worksping command are normal. We changed hub. The result is the same.
What can be a problem?
