PPPoE without a router?

by jeftecknt . Updated 23 years, 5 months ago

I’ve set up my little P2P at home. I want to share my connection with all my sytems.

I have an AMD K-6 2 running Win2000Pro and a P4 running WinXPPro, both have half a gig of RAM, I have a 3com switch, and I am running ADSL from an external TA.

The problem is my ISP is running PPPoE which requires the user to logon before it actually allows use. This is due to multiple screenames. I tried to use a 3com Frewall that acts as a router/DHCP server. This wasnt an option.

Anybody have anyideas other than changing ISP’s (which isn’t an option as the user is quite comfortable) Please feel free to offer any suggestions. I am stumped.
