Print jobs are not automatically removed

I have the following problem. When users submit print jobs to the printer, these jobs are not automatically removed from spooler.
Spooler service has enouth disk space to store print jobs and likely runs properly.
I use HP LaserJet 1100 with newest driver version and Windows NT 4 Server with FAT hard disk as print server.
How do I get printer to remove complited print jobs from spooler
