Print jobs from network stays in queue

Windows XP computers configured in a Workgroup. HP Laserjet P1005 is connected to one workstation with a USB cable and shared. Printing from other workstations start immediately, but after completion of print job it stays in the queue for about 1 minute. Printjobs initiated from the host workstation are cleared immediately. Windows XP SP2 installed, printer and workstation less than a month old.
