Print Queue

Have a W2K machine printing to a HP 2200 printer on the network. No printer server involved here. The issue is: When jobs are printed, the print Q does not clear the print jobs, instead the status just say’s printed. When the PC is shutdown and restarted, all the print jobs that where printed prior to shutdown, print all over again…???? Help…
