Printer/Copier/Scanner On P2P Network

I have a Savin 9965DP. It is a printer and copire with a NIC built-in. The Savin is connected to a Linksys router. I am unable to ping the Savin. Here are the settings:
ip address of the Savin 192.168.1.9
default gateway 192.168.1.1
Subnet 255.255.255.0
The router is set to DHCP. How do I configure the Savin to print from computers plugged into the Linksys router. Is there some setting I need to change on the router config page? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
