printer errors

have tried to set up my hpdeskjet 722c,but keep getting error messages:#1.attempting to send data to the printer but the printer is not responding.#2.the printer service you are trying to perform cannot be performed because it has lost communicationwith printer.i have downloaded an installed the latest drivers,changed the cable,trouble shooted on the hp web site.it doesn’t matter if i try it on one computer or another.maybe the printer itslf?
