Printer Pooling

I recently set up a printer pool (win xp) of 2 printers(called printer 1 and printer 2) at the school that i work for. I was wondering if it would be possible for a display to pop up every time a student printed something that would say which printer the document was printing to. For example, if a student were to print a document and the pool sent it to printer 2, I would like a message saying something like, “Your document has been sent to printer 2.” Is this at all possible? And, if so, how would I go about doing it?
