PRINTER PROBLEM

I have two problems with my printers. I use NT4.0 on all servers and jet admin and jet direct cards in all printers. The printers are 4000tn, 4050 tn and 2500 cm inkjets. Every week or so I have a problem with the cue backing up and not printing anymore. The other part of the problem is if a job was printed already and than the server is restarted the job is printed again and i have to maually clear the print que every couple of days. Is this normal for NT? I never had this problem in the past with other networks. The network consists of less than 500 people if that matters at all.
