Printer setting

hi there

i have a HP 4050 connected control by a window 2000 print server. On the print server property for the printer, the default paper is set to A4.

On a client W2K professional machine, we setup a connection to the printer too and we change the local paper size property of that same printer to A4 too. But when i close the printer tab and open it again, the local printer paper size property change back to letter size again.

Could anyone advise me what’s wrong? On other machine, it’s not giving this problem.
