Printing delays between pages in excel using hp laserjet 1020

hi, help me!
i have a workbook with multiple sheets each corresponding to grades of different subjects of different class. one sheet is dedicated to print report card. this sheet fetches data from a particular sheet according to roll no and print the card one by one. the report card dim is 204mm x 204mm and that too i’ve changed in page setup and printer setting. The problem is that printer takes 15 to 20 seconds to print another page. please help asap as i’ve to print out the report card of 1000 students. Here i would like to mention that first time it didn’t delay.
