Printing from DOS on computer running XP

I have a notebook computer that runs XP and a program that is still in DOS. I need to print from DOS to a dot matrix computer. The computer will print to this printer with Windows based programs, but not the DOS. How can I print from the DOS program?

NOTE: This is a single computer NOT running on a network.
