Printing in NT

I have a situation that is baffling. I have two users on a two Win98 machines that receive an error upon attempting to print. It states there’s an UNKNOWN SYSTEM ERROR, the printer will now work offline. I cannot delete the printer with this user signed in. I sign in and then can remove and reinstall the network printer. I then have them sign back in and the printer fails with the same error. I had a user with bare min rights sign-in and could install and print fine. As soon as the problem person signs in they cannot print. We have many users with many network printers. Im getting this problem with two individuals on the same printer. They both can install other printers and print.Any clues as to the problem would be helpful. Thank You
