Printing in Token Ring

Yes you read right TOKEN RING!

A simple question i hope. We’ve recently inherit a series of token ring networks all of which have their printers shared out rather than networked.

They tell me its not possible to network a printer on a token ring – is this true? if not can anyone point me towards some info
