printing nodes w/ Xerces-C++ XML Parser

Does anyone know how to acuire nodes, print their values, and acuire their children from the DOM with Apache’s Xerces C++ XML parser. I know that sounds like a basic question but I have been unsuccessful in doing this or finding information or examples of it…thanks so much =)
