printing problem

I have a Lexmark z517 printer. I changed the ink cartridge and printed a test page ok but now every time I try to print from Word the printer spits out blank pages – I can print ok of the internet and I can print e mails it is just word documents. Really need help as I have some course work to finish this weekend and need to print it off
